ICFJ is at the forefront of the news revolution. Programs empower journalists and engage citizens with new technologies and best practices. ICFJ’s networks of reporters and media entrepreneurs are transforming the field. They believe that better journalism leads to better lives. Programs use the latest digital technology to increase the flow of quality news. The goal is to serve as catalysts for change, leaving partners stronger and officials more accountable. ICFJ runs a number of flagship mentoring and training programs, among them the respected Knight International Journalism Fellowships which are designed to instill a culture of news innovation and experimentation worldwide. The Fellows partner with newsrooms, startups and other organizations to help them quickly adopt or invent technology.
