Hala is the program officer at ARIJ. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish/English Language and Literature from the University of Jordan, and a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Granada in Spain. Before joining ARIJ in 2020, she worked for the Mexican and Spanish Embassies in Jordan as Interpreter/Consular Section Assistant and Protection Officer, the Spanish Red Cross and Toledo School of Translators in Spain as Interpreter and Social Worker Assistant, Colorado State University in USA and the University of Jordan as lecturer as well as a project coordinator/language assistant with a European Union Twinning project in Jordan.
