ARIJ in partnership with the International Labour Organization are offering a training grant for journalists on “Reporting on Migrant Workers Issues” for journalists from different Arab countries, the workshop will take place virtually on Wednesday, 27 October 2021 at 3:00 pm- 7:00 pm (GMT+3)

This interactive workshop offers an introduction to fair and responsible coverage of migrant workers issues in the Arab World. Grounded in international labour standards, the workshop provides participants with a variety of tools to navigate topics of labour rights, forced labour and human trafficking. Led by an expert facilitator with years of reporting on migrant workers issues, the workshop provides practical guidelines on how to plan and publish media items on labour migration.
