After graduating from Birzeit university in 2008 majoring in Radio and TV, Firas completed 6 investigative reports with ARIJ since 2015. He worked in the radio field as an editor, broadcaster and reporter for radio investigations for 13 years. Simultaneously, he worked as a broadcaster in Palestine TV for 7 years, and then joined Al-Quds Educational TV in 2016 as a presenter of the morning show. He has worked as an editor for Palestinian websites, and a reporter for Afaq environmental magazine since 2014. He received the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Award for the best investigative report in Palestine in 2018, and “the Journalist Friend of Local Government Award” in 2019.
