Ahmad lives on the outskirts of Wadi Shbooka in the province of Khénifra in Central Morocco. On May 15, 2022, he woke up to the sight of dead fish along the course of the river where the water had dried up completely. He took a picture of the place with his phone and the circulated photo had angered the residents of the Lehri commune, at the same time the photo blew into the open a series of collusions and violations committed in the area.
