Grants Manager

Liyan Shuhaiber is the Grants Manager at ARIJ with 7+ years of NGO experience in donor relations, grant acquisition, program/project and budget development and planning, and donor compliance. She has worked with a wide range of institutional donors, both governmental and private, internationally, including US based donors, State Department, UN Agencies, and the EU. Her work spans comprehensive grant acquisition processes for funding ranging from small-scale projects to multi-million dollar budgets, aligning funding priorities with organisational strategies to support multi-year programs, core operations, and long-term impact. Beyond grants, Liyan leads the business model at ARIJ alongside Forum partnerships and Forum budget management, and builds and contributes systems that enhance departmental and inter-departmental workflows and operations. She currently serves as a member of the ARIJ Forum committee and Crises Committee and as a Peer-to-Peer agent, and previously served on the procurement committee and as a Change agent. Liyan holds a B.S in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from the Lebanese American University.
