Accountant


Position: Full Time


Nationality: Any Arab nationality 


The Job is an office job and in based in Amman, Jordan


Duties and Responsibilities


Implementing the accounting system; ensuring the accurate flow of financial documents, reports and keeping accounting books, as well as providing the necessary reports and information as required for the company.


Specific duties:

  • Preparing daily accounting entries for the company, and maintain the entries on its adopted files.
  • Preparing the receivables accounts and the payables.
  • Helping prepare and issuing checks to suppliers, social security, insurance, and follow up salary reports and review them.
  • Helping implement the accounting system; ensuring the accurate flow of financial documents, reports and keeping accounting books, as well as providing the necessary reports and information as required.
  • Verifying and calculating all purchasing invoices and submitting payables at suppliers’ accounts after checking their accuracy and conducting fixed assets verification.
  • Following up on all receivables on a daily basis and reconciling against bank deposits.
  • Supporting the weekly and monthly financial closing activities and ensuring deadlines are met with compliance to all statutory requirements.
  • Identifying, reporting, testing, resolving and implementing system problems, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Maintaining office inventory and stationery.
  • Preparing and executing payments to consultants, service providers, trainers …etc and as per the signed contracts.

Required Experience


Education:

  • BA in accounting.


Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, and up to 3 years of experience.


Language:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
