In this session, Mona Abdelmaksoud, an associate professor of Mass Communication at Cairo University, discusses key takeaways from the expert toolkit on media sustainability in the Middle East and North Africa, which she developed for the International Journalists’ Network (IJNet) Arabic site. She will be joined by Abdelmalik Bin Abdullah, the founder of Radio Mahdia in Tunisia, and Samira Dehri, the founder of Radio Voix de Femmes in Algeria. Bin Abdullah and Dehri are both alumni of the IJNet Arabic Mentoring Center for Media Startups in the Middle East and North Africa, and continue to operate their news initiatives today..
