Twenty-two thousand people living with AIDS in Egypt find themselves, and their uninfected relatives, under the threat of death after they’re refused health care services in public hospitals, in violation of the law and the constitution.

In this investigation, “ARIJ” documents the refusal of about 50 government hospitals to receive ten cases of AIDS patients, including those who suffered the death of their “uninfected” relatives, or were under threat of death, or who actually died due to the refusal to provide them with health service, documented by documents and videos.
