Mohammed Komani is an Investigative Journalist with many years of experience in investigative and Data journalism. He has worked with ARIJ since 2015 as a senior Data Editor and Coach.
Komani is a member of ICIJ and worked with them on several projects including the Panama Papers, Swiss Leaks, Pandora Papers, FinCEN files, Ericsson Files,.. and other ground-breaking cross-border projects. He is a member of the Prize Committee of Sigma Awards 2023 and 2024. He has also trained hundreds of Arab journalists under a project between Google News Initiative and ICFJ and worked as a mentor with the Thomson Foundation. Komani has an extensive background in data and specializes in corruption, follow money, and money laundering investigations.
