Board Member

Nicoline Noe is an investigative data journalist with a focus on multiple ecological crises and human rights.

She currently works part-time as an independent journalist with Investigative Reporting Denmark, and part-time with the journalistic research and analysis firm Kaas & Mulvad — founded by early pioneers of data journalism in Denmark.

As a freelance journalist, she publishes in Denmark and works internationally in cross-border investigative teams. She has led cross-border collaborations and coordinated complex investigations across countries.

Nicoline brings experience in databases, OSINT and advanced data analysis.She is a board member of the Journalists’ Group in the Danish Union of Journalists, as well as member of the board of Investigative Reporting Denmark. For the past two years, she has served on the jury for the Daphne Caruana Galizia Prize for investigative journalism, awarded by the European Parliament.

Nicoline has worked in journalism for a decade — across local media, a national outlet, and as an independent. Before becoming a journalist, she studied Theology and Aesthetics & Culture at Aarhus University.
