Gaza Project Shortlisted for The Online Journalism Awards 2025

Gaza Project has been shortlisted alongside another three investigations for The Online Journalism Awards 2025 in the Excellence in Collaboration and Partnerships category.

Gaza Project has been shortlisted alongside another three investigations for the 2025 Online Journalism Awards (OJAs) in the Excellence in Collaboration and Partnerships category, which honors newsrooms and companies who have formed partnerships or collaborations to cover a topic or story with a digital focus.

The Gaza Project is a global collaboration between 13 media outlets organised by “Forbidden stories“, the project investigated the targeting of journalists in Gaza and pursued the work of journalists who have been killed or threatened in Gaza and the West Bank since October 7th.

The other shortlisted investigations are:

Unsolved by APM Reports, St. Louis Public Radio, and The Marshall Project.

Death and Deterrence in the Rio Grande by El Universal, Lighthouse Reports, and The Washington Post

The Online Journalism Awards (OJAs), launched in May 2000, are the only comprehensive set of journalism prizes honoring excellence in digital journalism around the world.
