The Gaza Project won the silver award in the 2025 Anthem Awards, in the category of Human & Civil Rights/News & Journalism/Awareness.
The Gaza Project is a global collaboration between 13 media outlets organized by “Forbidden Stories”, the project investigated the targeting of journalists in Gaza and pursued the work of journalists who have been killed or threatened in Gaza and the West Bank since October 7th.
The Anthem Awards is the largest and most comprehensive social impact award, accepting work across five areas of impact work including: Awareness, Fundraising, Community Engagement, Product, Innovation & Service and Team & Internal Initiatives. By amplifying the voices that spark global change, we’re defining a new benchmark for impactful work that inspires others to take action in their own communities.
