After the publication of “Forbidden Cohabitation: AIDS in Egypt”, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population responded to two AIDS cases reported in the investigation. A follow-up response came after a conference was held, discussing all the obstacles people with HIV are facing, that HIV treatments will be available in private pharmacies for the first time.
