Following a Report by ARIJ, Jordan Women’s Rugby Team Actively Participated in the Arab Rugby 7’s Tournament Held in the UAE

“Following the publication of Saja Abed’s in-depth report “Women’s Rugby in Jordan: High Risks with No Compensation” on July 14, 2022, the Jordan Women’s rugby team actively participated in the Arab Rugby 7’s tournament held in the UAE on February 17, 2023. This marked the team’s comeback to international competition after a four-year absence. Furthermore, the women’s team received a kit that was equal to the men’s team, which was not the case during their initial participation in 2019 and was a point emphasised in the detailed report.”
