Job Description

Perform an analysis for ARIJ’s processes to understand and record the current needs of the business as a whole and its strategic direction, and identify initiatives that will allow a business to meet its strategic goals. Collect accurate data and analyse  current workflows and procedures used by the team  to implement ARIJ  services and user information related to the technology used. Focus will be on editorial processes in content producing and pre-publication fact checking. 


  • Defining Business Need Document
  • Defining Current State description and studying various business-related problems including functional and system analysis.
  • Document and analyze current workflows and procedures
  • Identify the gap between the understanding of the business needs and how technology can provide a solution
  • Conducting the initial risk assessment
  • Defining Future State description
  • Prepare BRS and SRS documents
  • Identifying future Organizational Capabilities through Gap Analysis
  • Collaborate with AI expert to draft an AI Strategy for ARIJ 


  • Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance 
  • A degree in IT / Computer Science preferred or equivalent certificates  from iiba or PMI
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Experience in generating process documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken in both English and Arabic languages.
