ARIJ invites experienced mental health specialists and psychiatrists to join our support pool, offering services to Arab journalists and fact-checkers. 

Languages Required: Fluent in Arabic and English

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological counselling and therapy to journalists, fact-checkers, and their caretakers dealing with work-related stress, trauma, and mental health challenges.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalised support plans.
• Offer intervention and support during emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with journalists/fact-checkers.
• Licensed mental health specialist/psychiatrist with relevant certifications.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
