How the Tunisian Government Administered COVID-19 Purchase Deals
This investigation into the Tunisian government’s management of the pandemic highlights two key findings. The first, concerns a French company, Biosynex, which was awarded a contract only 3 days after the tendering process opened to provide quick COVID tests. At that time, the company itself did not distribute its health products in France. The investigation also reveals how conflicts of interest led to deals and contracts for medical masks which fail standards.
